Pink hair doll

Here I have newly created girl, she has new face mold,with big lips (and I mean it :)) and I just finished making her first wig in bright pink, the second one will probably be black and short.
This will be a very special looking girl!

I am learning to paint small eyelashes and I am satisfied here, I gave her more makeup than usually (it's Xmas :)) so she looks a little older than Lilly, I think you couldn't even tell it is the same face mold, anyway the eBay auction will begin tonight with a starting bid of 1250$, will go for 7 days.

She is from Lilly's face mold and I am thinking to give her bright blue eyes and thick eyebrows with probably blond locks of hair, she will have a Christmas outfit with red and white hood. I will try to have her done in time for the holidays!

Working on her dress.

So this is the dress fabric I've chose for my doll, you can also notice the hair and the little porcelain shoes, I think she will be quite an elegant young lady :)

Remember her?

It is Tinker Bell's face mold, but with a little different face painting she looks like another doll. Deep blue eyes, two lil adorable teeth and such a cute nose, don't you agree?
So this is my new doll, I don't have a name for her yet and her hair will be a different color (this is a wig from another doll). I will make a little dress for her and she will wear some porcelain shoes.
I will list her on to eBay's action once she is completed, next Sunday I think.

Lilly is my latest, she is almost completed and is only waiting for her wig and a few finishing touches, I will list her on to eBay action this Sunday evening!

Look, Sleeping beauty is finished!

Hurray, she is all finished now, I love her.
I must say that she sleeps a lot :), but it doesn't take away from having her magical and beautiful presence around, she is so very much fun and she is very easy to pose.
She is the same size as my previous girls (like Red Riding Hood, Tinkerbell...), a little over 12.5 inches tall.Just the same she is strung with elastic cord, has very long (angora goat's hair) removable wig, dress and shoes to go with it- full package of stunning work of art :

Her dress is almost ready, she now is starting to look like a real princess :).
A few finishing touches left to do as well as her shoes and I will be taking the final pictures,.... will list her on eBay maybe.

She is wearing her under shorts I've made this morning and I will now be working on her dress. She will have a very pale yellow dress in silk.
She can be posed in many different ways because of her double jointed knees and elbows:

New hands and feet

My "Sleeping beauty" is now ready to be strung!
She was baked with her final china paint layer yesterday and today she is out of the kiln and ready for new adventure :-)
This week I will work on polymer lining her joints and will put her together - very excited!
Here are the new, tiny hands and feet:

I made new prototype...

She will be very similar to my previous prototype but will have small changes as well as double jointed knees. I made the top of her torso a little thinner then in my "Red Riding Hood's" prototype.
This one I am working on will be a "Sleeping Beauty", right now I have the parts out of the mold and will be cleaning them up, next then the first stage of kiln firing.

Did you notice - the face is rather wider then in my previous girls :) .

Victorian doll is completed!

I made the second wig for her and her little shoes so now she is all done :

The mystery girl is revealed!

I decided to make a Victorian style doll.
So the mystery girl is not a mystery any more :), she is a simple girl from the old Victorian age, with her hair free and beautiful, her dress is nearly finished, I am only left to make her shoes and her pale, curly wig to complete her look.
Of course I will take some better pictures of her when she is done, I just love to do this quick spontaneous shots, sometimes the doll looks better on the pictures that I don't spend too much time on then ones that take nearly half the day.

Mystery girl

So I made a wig for her, it is very silky, long and beautiful angora goat's hair and I love the way it looks and feels.
I will be making a second wig for her, and her character is still a mystery :)

Hello everyone,
I am sorry you haven't heard from me for a while, I've been away for the whole month, spent some time in Ukraine with my dear family. I had a great time but am happy to be back.

So before I left I had started to work on a new girl, and now I've put her together and here is what I have so far :

She is from the same face mold as my little red riding hood, but you can see how different she looks with a little touch of a brush and an extra paint.
I had in mind to make a Victorian style doll, this type of a face reminds me of the doll faces they made back then, but now that I've painted her she looks almost like a little gypsy girl from one of the John W Godward's paintings (one of my favorite by the way), so now I will have to stare at her for a while and imagine her in both styles, maybe play with some hair and fabrics.

Cute transparent wings, she is wearing them on her shoulders - no hole in her back.
I love her!
I will take some more pictures on Monday to show her complete look, I am not very good at photographing so it usually takes me almost all day to get some nice shots done LOL, I am often told that my dolls look much prettier in person.

This is her dress inside out, as you can see it is much lighter in color then the other side of it:

Tinker Bell's new hair and dress!

So the simple Tinker Bell dress is now completed and it is two sided dress so can be worn inside out, the inside color is a lighter green (I will take some pictures next time), her second wig is done too and gives her new look.
Now I will be making her shoes and wings, coming up next :). 

More of Tinker Bell

Here are some more pictures of my Tinker Bell, she is now strung and has her first wig done, I will make her another wig with loose hair, blond and without the hair bang so that we see better her beautiful eyes and eyebrows. She has a real Tinker Bell look to her, playful and full of magic, I can't wait to add the finishing touches, like wings, dress and shoesies.

Who doesn't like Tinker Bell , she is one of the most recognisable Disney characters, and what a better way to put her to life than make a ball jointed doll :).

She is almost ready for her stringing  and I will do it within the next few days, also I will make her a cute little dress and two wigs as well as Tinkerbell wings, and I don't know if I have to mention it but she will have the most adorable face with deep blue eyes, oh and also pointy ears :).
